A shocking encounter between a waitress and a red-hatted customer.

A Special Place

Rosalynd explained to the three men the name Busboys and Poets was named after the poet Langston Hughes. He is a major figure in African American Literature, who used to work as a busboy before becoming famous for his writing. Hughes was a pioneer in jazz poetry and wrote a large number of articles, novels, poems and plays during his lifetime. Hughes was a cultural icon, a social and political figure, who is now considered legendary.

The End?

Rosalynd thought that after taking the orders and letting the group eat, that the meeting would be over… but was it? It was more than a pleasant meal and a nice conversation. Rosalynd felt strange as she continued her work, after having introduced the men to the location. It was a strange encounter for both of them.
