What to do
The eggs appeared to be almost ready to hatch. Hans was determined to get rid them so he climbed up onto his tractor until his daughters intervened. The girls jumped in front and refused to move the tractor.
Hans tried to calm down his girls by suggesting something else, but they were shocked.
Happy Girls
Hans said, “Well, I’m afraid the harvest can’t be saved, but we might still be able to save the eggs.” The girls’ faces were brightened and they leapt for joy.
They had to find a way to keep the whole batch of eggs warm.
