Unusual Eggs
The corn had disappeared and the field was bare. The eggs were instead scattered all over the place. Hans was about to destroy all the eggs when his daughters intervened.
The Shocking Proposal
They refused to move and jumped in front of it. They could not understand how their father would be so cruel and destroy living creatures. Hans tried to appease the girls by suggesting something else. This completely shocked them.
