How to grill like a pro this summer. Tips, tricks and recipes for beginners

How to grill – getting ready to serve

It’s exciting to prepare your grilled meal. There are some things you can do in order to make it as tasty as possible.

Remove the meat and vegetables

When cooking meat on the barbecue, timing is key. It’s better to remove the meat before it reaches your desired level of doneness. Grab this grilling guide by The Spruce Eats. It has some great time charts for ensuring perfectly cooked food.

Rest.

It’s tempting to serve meat immediately, but it is best to allow it to rest to prevent the juices from escaping too quickly. This gives the juices time to redistribute themselves and keeps your food tender. Cover loosely with foil and allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes depending on how big the meat is. Vegetables, however, can be served right away.

Best grilling gadgets

I have compiled a list with my favorite grilling equipment that is essential to get started and make the most of your grilling experiences.
