Japanese inventions that changed the way we live and travel

11. Bath Pillow/Smartphone Holder

What is it: A waterproof phone case attached to an bath pillow
Invented: 2015
Average price:$37*

Bath Air Pillow smartphone holder is another cool invention by Thanko. It joins the Mini Mini Washing Machine and a whole host of other amazing stuff. The Bath Air Pillow Smartphone Holder allows you to take your phone in the bath without it getting damaged by the water. The waterproof pillow provides a backrest for you when you attach your phone.

Then, slide your phone in the case that is built into the pillow. It comes in white, gray or pink. It is waterproof so you can still tap the screen with soapy or wet fingers.

Some would say that bath time is a good opportunity to escape the digital world. However, the thought of reading your favorite book in the bathtub is too tempting to ignore.
