Japanese inventions that changed the way we live and travel

17. Nose Straightener

What is it? A clip for contouring/straightening your nose
Invented: 2012
Average price:$43*

Want to straighten your nose, but you don’t have the money for surgery? Japanese inventors can help. Hana Tsun Nose Straightener was invented by the company. The silicon clip straightens the nose bones over time, and makes it more contoured. You only need to wear it for twenty minutes a day.

Japan Trend Shop claims that the nose straightener was made in Japan, and all instructions are in Japanese. It’s not difficult to use. Although it’s not clear how long before results are seen, it is selling out quickly so it must be working, right?

The device will not change the size, but it can straighten the cartilage of the nasal cavity, which could lead to better breathing or even snoring elimination (though there are no guarantees).
