Since decades, drones are becoming more popular. They’re especially useful for exploring places that humans cannot easily reach. In 2017, the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency unveiled its robotic ball. The JEM Internal Ball is able to hang out with astronauts in zero gravity.
It can also be used to take pictures and communicate with Earth. The Int-Ball was designed to free astronauts from having to take videos and photos themselves. Unknown is the price of the drone, but it was likely to be expensive.
