Power Japan Plus, a startup company that pioneered dual carbon batteries, has not received the same funding and financial support as companies such as Energizer. Power Japan Plus’ dual carbon (biocarbon) battery is called the Ryden. It is an innovative product because it charges 20 times faster than regular Li-ion batteries.

Battery is not only faster to charge, but it can also be used for more than three thousand cycles. The batteries can be easily integrated into existing production lines without any changes. The PJP batteries have been used in vehicles like the Tesla Model S or the Prius.
