In Japan, the rotating technology is popular. Seats on trains are not an exception. Bullet trains like the Shinkansen allow passengers to turn their seats to face a window or another passenger if they’re in a group.

The Shinkansen, which is similar to CSSX America, has rotating train seats that are controlled by a lever located under the seat. This lever can rotate the seat up to 180°. It’s not the only place where you can find this kind of innovative seating. The stadium bleachers at the Sapphoro Dome, on Hokkaido Island also rotate.
