What is it: A bowl which attaches to both ears to amplify sound
Invented: Unknown

This hearing amplifier, called “Ear Enhancer,” is less than useful and more intrusive than Apple Earpods. The Ear enhancer is made up of two metal bowls, one for each ear facing outward. They are attached to a headphone band.

The funnel-like device is designed to increase your hearing accuracy and amplify sounds. This is a cheaper, but less effective, version of NASA SpacePlace’s Super Sound Cone, a giant cone which funnels sound waves. The Super Sound Cone allows you to hear sounds you wouldn’t have heard on your own.
