22. Sea Monster
Vanessa’s voice was hushed as she said “It looks like a monster of the sea.” Kelsey could not help but agree. She piloted her submersible with John’s help to the entrance of sub. This was a two-man task, and the most difficult part of the mission.
She felt as if she were awakening a sleeping monster, like knocking at the door of Cthulu’s lair and hoping that it would not awaken.
Kelsey was able to shake off her paranoia and continue on.
