69. Bring It Up
She saw on the news pictures of the sub when it returned to land. The hulking exterior, which was rusted out, appeared like a bloated, beached sea monster. Kelsey didn’t think the pictures were anything special, but she knew was still there.
It waited for its turn, but it is now going to awaken. It was hungry and The Marinerwas a buffet with unlimited food.
Kelsey hoped that it had not forgotten her or her crewmates.
