The crew members Vanessa, John and Luke, as well as Kelsey, were all in HAZMATs because of the high likelihood of finding human remains.
Kelsey worried about the journey down. She was also worried about the impact that finding these men would have on her mental health.
It was necessary to do so, for both research and to lay the crewmen at rest.
