Shoulder Pain When Raising The Arm | Causes & Remedies

There are alterations to one’s way of life that can reduce discomfort.

Be in excellent physical condition, but use caution when lifting heavy weights or performing shoulder exercises.
Take frequent breaks if your job requires you to continuously perform overhead handwork.
If you’re working at a workstation, avoid activities that cause shoulder strain. Utilise an ergonomic chair and workstation. Adjust them so you can reach the keyboard without raising your wrists.
Consider a standing workstation. If you use a computer all day, you will benefit from a height-adjustable electric desk that allows you to alternate between standing and seated.
Stretch routinely. Occasionally, muscle tension contributes to shoulder discomfort. Therefore, occasionally perform stretching exercises and follow your doctor’s advice, as it may be best to immobilise your shoulder for a day or two.
Obtain assistance from employers or coworkers if your job requires constant overhead labour.
Correct your reclining, walking, standing, and sleeping postures. Remember that many instances of nerve-related issues are caused by poor posture.
