When motivation fails, here are 10 ways to keep going.

5. Directions

The directives are a code of conduct that every member of the team agrees to follow. These directives must be in line with the highest purpose of each team, individual, and organization.

It is important to realize that the directives must be clearly visible. They should be focused on what we are doing. Many organizations focus on intangible concepts like “passion”. How can I tell if you are passionate by looking at you?

You can tell if you are trying to do your best by the way you work. What’s this? Passion will be generated by striving to do the best possible work.

6. Habits

A National Geographic film crew would follow you for a whole month, and capture the daily activities you perform. It would find that about 40 percent of what you do is habitual.

Changing your habits can be a very effective way to create change. You can make rapid progress when you (re)design your habits using your values, goals, and intentions.

It is important to choose your habits consciously and then integrate them into your daily routine, so they become ingrained and unconscious.
