7. Learn more about the Learning Program

It is important to want to learn new things, and be able pick them up quickly. Learning also includes taking on new challenges and adapting to changes.

Some examples of how to improve your learning abilities include:

  • Doing a short or online course
  • You can find out what courses and skills you want to learn by researching
  • Starting a New Hobby
  • joining a sporting or volunteer group
  • You can learn a new skill like how to make the perfect omelette.

8. Technology

The ability to use technology skills includes the use of a computer to send emails, use spreadsheets, and process documents.

Other technology skills include using social media or working with video or design editing software, or knowing programming languages. Some technology skills are hardware-related, such as knowing how to operate an EFTPOS machine, a cashier, a camera, or a recording studio.

You can improve your tech skills by:

  • Doing a short or online course
  • Asking for additional training at work
  • Finding out how technology is used at the job you’re interested in and what it is
  • Make a list of the technologies you use in your daily life.
