Japanese inventions that changed the way we live and travel

49. Cat Therapy Pillow

What is it: Fake cat
Invented: 2017
Average price: Unknown

Yukai Engineering decided in 2017 that it was time to join the Japanese cat trend. They set up a Kickstarter to get their product going. It’s an artificial feline that looks like a cushion for those who can’t have a living cat.

Qoobo, a cat with a tail that wags, is designed to make lonely cat lovers feel better. The only thing owners have to do is stroke the tail and it will wag. They don’t need to feed, care about fleas or change the litter box.
